ABSTRACT

 

Il lavoro esamina il ruolo che il Constitution Committee della Camera dei Lords ha assunto

negli anni come uno dei custodi dei valori della costituzione britannica contribuendo anche a definire con

chiarezza il nucleo essenziale della Costituzione e ad arricchire il dibattito dottrinario in materia.

 

 

This study examines the role assumed over time by the Constitution Committee of the House

of Lords as one of the guardian of the values underpinning the British constitution, highlighting its

contribution not only to the clarification of the constitution's core principles, but also to the enrichment of the

scholarly debate on the subject.
