Muovendo dalle Reflections on the Constitution di Harold Laski, l’articolo evidenzia la crescita

delle funzioni esecutive e il protagonismo del Cabinet nella prima metà del Novecento inglese, interrogandosi

su come tali trasformazioni sfidino la storica centralità della House of Commons.

 

 

 

Based on Harold Laski's Reflections on the Constitution, the article highlights the growth of

executive functions and the increasing prominence of the Cabinet in the first half of Twentieth-Century

England, questioning how these transformations challenge the historical institutional centrality of the House

of Commons.
