ABSTRACT
Italiano

The relationship between Canada and the Crown presents some very peculiar aspects, which are discussed in the different essays featured in the volume edited by Michael Jackson and Philippe Lagassé.
The Canadian Crown has been defined “invisible”, but perhaps that is precisely the reason why it endures in a society deeply rooted in democratic and republican principles.
